Malnutrition of the child and adult population in Latin America

Introduction: Malnutrition is a serious problem because, in addition to the limitations in their biological, psychological, and social capacities and the possible appearance of diseases such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, which are currently the main causes of death in In the United States, obesity affects people in Ecuador and the world. Malnutrition and obesity are not only recognized as pathologies that negatively affect people's physical and mental health, but also lead to public health problems.
Desarrollo: Determine the association between bad eating habits and the triggers of childhood malnutrition through a bibliographic review. T 30 scientific articles were selected according to the search keywords and inclusion and exclusion criteria considered for their selection. Mothers play a very important role in the life of each of the family members, because the food they consume is prepared and quantified by mothers, therefore, the educational level plays a very important role for prevent malnutrition.
Practical applications and future lines of research: The topic investigated is of fundamental understanding because it has a comprehensive approach that allows generating innovative research.
Conclusion: Therefore, talks should be given on what a balanced diet should be like and the times at which food should be consumed. to avoid other diseases.
