Abstract

Introduction:
Pediatric Oncological Surgery, in constant evolution, stands as a crucial field in the battle against childhood cancer. This article explores innovative strategies and significant clinical outcomes in the surgical treatment of pediatric tumors. From minimally invasive surgery to the integration of advanced technologies, we will examine advancements that have transformed clinical practice. Understanding epidemiology, molecular approaches, and practical applications places this discipline at the forefront of pediatric oncological care.

Development:  The development addresses the molecular evolution of pediatric tumors, highlighting molecular classification, biomarkers, targeted therapies, functional genomics, and treatment resistance. Precision medicine is explored, with an emphasis on biomarker-specific clinical trials. Additionally, surgical strategies, including minimally invasive surgery, augmented reality-guided surgery, ultra-radical resection, robot-assisted surgery, and intraoperative monitoring, are examined.

Practical applications: Practical applications encompass minimally invasive surgery, augmented reality-guided surgery, ultra-radical resection, robot-assisted surgery, and intraoperative monitoring.

Conclusions:  In summary, Pediatric Oncological Surgery has evolved significantly, applying innovative strategies that enhance outcomes and quality of life. Ongoing research, ethics, and multidisciplinary collaboration are crucial for advancing the treatment of childhood cancer.
